Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). While the oven preheats, cook bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove from pan, crumble, and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the ground beef and diced onion. Cook over medium-high heat until the beef is browned. Drain excess grease. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, and dill relish to create the signature burger sauce.
- Without separating the rolls, slice the slab of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread the burger sauce evenly over the bottom buns.
- Layer the cooked ground beef mixture over the sauce, followed by the crumbled bacon. Place the cheddar cheese slices on top. Cover with the top half of the rolls.
- In another small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, garlic powder, and onion powder. Brush the mixture over the tops of the rolls and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
- Let rest for a few minutes before slicing into individual sliders and serving warm.
