- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is browned. Drain any excess grease.
- Stir in the minced garlic, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook for one minute until fragrant. Add the diced tomatoes and stir to combine.
- In a separate saucepan over low heat, whisk the cream cheese and milk until smooth. Stir in 1 cup of shredded cheddar and the Worcestershire sauce until the cheese is melted.
- Pour the cheese sauce over the beef mixture in the skillet and stir well. Transfer to the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese over the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until bubbly and the cheese is golden. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
