- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more. Drain the excess grease thoroughly.
- Remove the skillet from the heat. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Let the mixture cool for 5-10 minutes, then stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Place about 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll up each crescent from the wide end to the point, pinching the seams to seal. Arrange the rollups on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter and garlic powder. Brush the mixture over the tops of the rollups and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the rollups are golden brown and bubbling. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
Tip 1: Ensure the ground beef is thoroughly drained to prevent the crescent rolls from becoming soggy.
Tip 2: Let the meat filling cool down before adding the cheese and assembling the rollups. This keeps the dough from getting too soft and hard to work with.
Tip 3: For extra flavor, add a small piece of a dill pickle slice into each rollup before baking.
