Making the Butter
- Place the softened, room-temperature butter into a medium mixing bowl.
- Using an electric mixer, beat the butter on medium speed for 1 to 2 minutes until it becomes pale and creamy.
- Add the powdered sugar, honey, ground cinnamon, and kosher salt. Mix on low speed until just combined.
- Increase the mixer speed to medium-high and whip for 2 to 3 minutes until the butter is exceptionally fluffy and soft swirls form.
- Transfer to a small clear glass ramekin, use a wooden spoon to create swooping swirls, sprinkle with extra ground cinnamon, and serve with rustic toasted bread.
Notes
Temperature Tip: Do not microwave the butter to soften it, or it will not hold its whipped structure.
