Ingredients

  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 count) Such as Pillsbury Grands!
  • 3 low-moisture mozzarella string cheese sticks Cut into 8 pieces total
  • 4 tbsp salted butter melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Equipment

  • 1 9-inch round baking pan
  • 1 Pastry Brush

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9-inch round baking pan or pie dish.
  2. Separate the 8 biscuits. Flatten each one with your fingers into a circle about 3-4 inches wide.
  3. Cut the mozzarella string cheese sticks into 8 equal-sized pieces. Place one piece of cheese in the center of each flattened biscuit.
  4. Fold the dough up and around the cheese. Pinch the seams together firmly to seal the cheese completely inside. This is crucial to prevent leaks.
  5. Place the cheese bombs seam-side down in the prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake for 13-17 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
  7. While baking, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, dried parsley, and grated Parmesan cheese in a small bowl.
  8. As soon as the cheese bombs come out of the oven, brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the tops. Serve immediately.

Notes

Tip 1: Ensure the dough is sealed very tightly around the cheese to prevent it from leaking out during baking.
Tip 2: Serve with marinara sauce or ranch for dipping for an extra delicious treat.
