Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups cooked shredded chicken a rotisserie chicken works perfectly
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1.5 cups Ritz crackers crushed (about 1 sleeve)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
  3. Gently fold the shredded chicken into the cream cheese mixture until it's evenly coated.
  4. Spread the chicken mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  5. In a separate small bowl, combine the crushed Ritz crackers and melted butter. Sprinkle the buttered cracker crumbs evenly over the top of the casserole.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the filling is hot and bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
  7. Let the casserole rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. This helps it set.
