Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs about 6-8 thighs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper freshly ground

Equipment

  • 1 Baking Dish or Sheet Pan
  • 2 Mixing Bowls
  • 1 Meat Thermometer

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken thighs completely dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Place chicken thighs in a large bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and toss to coat. Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the chicken and toss again until each thigh is evenly coated.
  4. Arrange the seasoned chicken thighs in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet or in a baking dish. Ensure there is space between each thigh.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) at the thickest part.
  6. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. This helps lock in the juices.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can let the seasoned chicken marinate for 30 minutes before baking.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
